I took patho online at El Centro, it was pretty easy. I barely spent any time on it. I think we had four tests and a paper to write. Pharmacology is a class that you will really need to study for. I took it as a lecture course but I know a lot of students who have taken it online and they have done well. If you looking for which would be easier while also taking Micro, I'd take patho. I'm taking Micro now at Richland (Reynolds is the best, if you have an option to take it with her at Richland, I would) it's a time consuming class. Just lots of info to learn. Reynolds makes it easy and fun.
I'm taking patho online now at the Santa Barbara City College. Teaching approach can determine the difficulty of a course. For my patho, the difficulty is about medium. Our body is full of complex systems; one can spend a life time studying them. While it's not hard to get an A in patho (a big part of the patho material has been covered in physiology, nutrition, and micro), understanding the concepts and applying the knowledge is the ultimate goal.
ProudRN2B, thanks for the info! Is there anyway I can contact you? I would love to ask you a few more questions about the online Patho class, I have just registered to take it at El Centro next semester. Thanks for the info on the Micro class, I registered to take it at Brookhaven with an instructor I like a lot, I hope its okay.....
Thanks to everyone for you suggestions!!
You can email me at [email protected]. Glad I was some help...
hello have a question I'm thinking of taking patho at el centro this fall, but i'm also planning on taking three other classes with patho( CHEM, statistics and sociology) and i wanted to know if it would be a good idea to take those clasees along with patho, and get an A in Patho.. I have no idea what to expect from patho..

I am taking Micro on campus next semester and wanted to take another class online. I have to choose between Pathophysiology or Pharmacology. I live in the Dallas area and one of the schools here offers them both online. Does anyone have any experience taking either of these classes online? Could you offer any suggestions? Thanks!!
