I'm currently signed up to take PATHOPHYSIOLOGY on site at Glendale Community College - AZ, this January. (its 4 hrs long, 1 night a week) - HOWEVER, I am considering taking it online instead.

Have you taken Pathophysiology online? If so, please help me with these questions:

What School did you take it with? GCC, Rio, PVCC, etc....

Pros and Cons of this class. Was it too much reading? Tests difficult etc...

Would you choose that decision again.

I took patho online through Rio- 8 week version.

Pros- very easy A due to no proctored exams and the instructor states all tests are open book as long as completed within the timeframe. Not as many essay type assignments as other RIO courses.

Cons - I probably didnt really learn as much as I should have because the tests were open book. I didnt really have to study. But that is my own doing. If you want to really learn the material, you definitely can.

Thank you Mrsboots87. Very helpful information. I appreciate it.

I am also curious for anyone who has taken Patho ONLINE at Glendale Community College. Was it proctored exams? Was it a hard class.
