Hey everyone,
For anyone in the Bay Area looking for a last minute Pathophysiology course (which some Nursing/ medical programs need), Merritt College is having one. Short term! it is Tues & Thursday 2:15-5pm. It ends the week of Spring finals, which is I believe May 28. Room D224. The class wasn't posted on the schedule, but the prof. is trying to get it on there asap. It started March 24 (Tuesday), but we need more students in order to keep the class. If anyone needs the class, or knows anyone..Please let them know. It's short term, and you can be done w/ the class fast , if you need it. Thank you.

did you get enough students to keep the class going? Are most of those taking it applying to Samuel Merritt?

hello,
yes, the class is being kept. And, there are some students applying to that private school. i think the professor is still adding.
How many people are in the class? I decided to take an online class. But I am curious as to where most of the people are applying. Seems like no one takes this course unless they need it for that Samuel Merrit nursing school...I sdont think there are any other school that require it before you get accepted.

I'm currently looking for a Pathophysiology class near the bay area. Do you know what community college I can sign up to that has this class? Or any online classes? Please help...
If the school that you are looking to apply to accepts on line courses I have heard a lot of people on all nurses say that santa barbara CC has a good on line class. Where are you looking to apply to?
I live in Daly City. I looked at College of San Mateo, City College Of SF, Skyline and Canada, but they don't have Pathophysiology. Does Merritt College have Pathophysiology as an online class? or regular class? I'm trying to take the class anywhere around here for the Fall 2009. Please let me know if you know any colleges. Thanks :)

UCLA extension offers it online for $550. I know that seems like a lot, but it's less than what Samuel Merritt charges. The class was challenging in some respects because you have to teach yourself the concepts from a really dry textbook...but if I remember correctly the instructor gave us 45 minutes to complete 15 question weekly quizzes. Best of luck!
