  1. Hi! I just wanted to know if you ended up going to SFSU’s FNP program? How is their program? Did they do an interview before you were accepted? Thanks in advance!
  2. Hi! I just read your post and was wondering which school you ended up going to? How did you like it?
  3. Hi! I’m applying for MSN NP for the Summer 2022 and saw your question. I was wondering the same thing you did. Were you able to get in? How long did it take for them to give you an answer? And what was your GPA when you applied?
  4. Hi Monica! I sent u a Private message! :-)
  5. Hi Monica! Congratulations! Yea, I was offered the position and I'm starting in July.. Good luck to u! Maybe we'll be coworkers! What department will u be in?
  6. Hi everyone...I recently applied to Scott and White Hospital for a med-surg position. I just wanted to know how it's like working in the med-surg floors particularly the Observation unit at S&W Temple. I heard that they train you for 8 weeks before you are alone. Is that enough time for a new grad nurse? I also see that there is a high turn over of nurses in med surg units because of the nurse-patient ratio 1:6. Is this true? I just want to make sure that I get enough training before I work alone in a hospital..Any comments/suggestions are greatly appreciated... Thanks in advance! And good luck to all the applicants!
  7. Congratulations on passing! I'm about to take my test in a 2 weeks. I wanted to ask how much of the qbanks did you take on tutorial mode? I'm having trouble with the timed mode. Everytime I take it on timed mode, I would get low scores, but when I take it on tutorial, I would get over 60%. I don't take it any differently compared to the timed mode except that it's not timed. What do you recommend? Is it okay to take most on tutorial mode?
  8. Hi RNLola35... I know this is off topic, but I just wanted to ask you about the calstate program. I was in your exact position. I failed one of the classes and have to repeat it. I was just wondering when you retook it. I was thinking of taking the class with my other rotation, but instructors recommend to take it in the fall of 3rd year. I just wanted to know what you did and when you retook it.

  10. As far as the apartments go, I'm not too sure. You can give the office a call and they'll give you all the information you need concerning the apartments :)
  11. Hi Nicki... No, you don't have to retake your TEAS test. I'm pretty sure you'll get in. As long as you pass your TEAS test and you have a good GPA, which you do, you'll get in. Good luck!

  14. Hi, I applied to USN last year (2009) and was accepted. I hear that as long as you have a gpa of 3.0 or above, you are likely to get in. I also have 3 other friends who applied and got in as well. The only thing about USN is that you have to get a 90% or above on all the exams to stay in the program, but I hear that it is definitely doable. Just out of curiosity, did you apply to any other nursing schools? Anyway, whatever you decide on, good luck and I wish you the best!
  15. Can you guys give me the link of where to check for the nursing lottery results for first time applicants of fall 2010 and spring 2011? I've been trying to find it, but I can't find the site...
