I posted a thread a few days ago but I need possibly different advice now. For a little while now I have been considering becoming a HM next year. But my consern is that I'm not coming out of highschool-by the time I'd join I would have two years of college underneath me. From what I have researched and asked people, it seems that coming out of the program i would have most likely another 3 years of college to complete a BSN in nursing. I know that you can do"travel college" while being an HM, but in reality how often does that work out? And how do you know whether those credits transfer to a home university when you go back to college? It just seems I would be splitting up my college and I'm not sure if that's the right path to take.
Many people tell me that I should probably finish my nursing degree first and then go travel and that way I'll make more money and start higher up. It's hard to know what to do. I was considering the HM more so because it's not quite the commitment it is going in afterwards (please correct me if I'm wrong) and . I am now reconsidering and possibly looking at other options such as the nurse corps program. I would really like to know what else is out there and opinions from different people who have experienced different things.any info you can give me would be great.
