Passing the ATI before taking Nclex?

Published

I was told today that we are required to take an exit ATI prior to graduating May 5th. They said depending upon how we do, we will find out when we can schedule our Nclex exam. Has anyone ever heard that the better you do on the ATI, the sooner you get to set your test date? This seems crazy to me!!:uhoh3:

The only thing I think that might mean is that your school uses ATI as its exit exam, and must pass in order to graduate. So if you fail and have to retake it they may not send your information as soon, delaying your ATT.

Yes. They are telling you that they will delay your paperwork to take the NCLEX, if you don't pass the ATI when you take it the first time.

We use the exit ATI to pass the course. Everyone in our class had to have above an 85% on it.

Good luck on the ATI! Just read the questions carefully. You can do it!

One of my classmates use the ATI to pass his NCLEX. He took all his ATI tests again because it is available a year after you graduate. He wrote down the stuff he didn't know. Learn the pathophysiology on it and studied it in the ATI books. Then after each subject, he took the 3.0 assessment ATI and study those topics and passed with 75 questions.

But each and everyone's way of studying is different. Find your learning style. =D
