I was so dreading this test and had the most difficult time preparing for this one. The material was super dry!! Thank you EC practice exams and Studygroup101! I passed with a C but I will take it!! I think utilizing outside materials would have resulted in a higher grade but I desperately needed to get this one out of the way! On to Repro!

Congrats!!!! Unfortunately, didn't pass my first attempt. I'm saving that one for last, its like a history test....blah!!!!! Congrats again!!!!

Thank you! The beginning of the test seemed easy but towards the middle I started getting anxious I think. Was so ready for it to be over! It is soooo blah, If I wouldn't have passed I was gonna push it to the back of the line as well!! Have you taken any other exams?

Nope. Im fairly new... finished up a degree outside of Excelsior and completed all General Requirements such as Anatomy1&2 etc just last year Dec 12. I fail Transition with 60% in each category last month with making a exceptional grade on practice test. My reason is not knowing how to study for Excelsior exams and memorizing material from practice exam rather understanding it. Thats the key and must to succeed. I know now after loosing $305 plus $75. I just sent material off to enroll and will be testing Health Safety, than after 3weeks or whenever im comfortable Health Differences than month after Chronicity. Can you tell me how your using studygroup. Im using the actual book now and will refer to studygroup for supplement. To be more specific, since we dont know what question will be on the exam; or you reading each section, than testing their questions. Share a little tip.

Congrats! I agree, it was very blah, blah, blah study material... glad to have put it behind me! ;)

Congrats on transitions!! Studying it now..hope to have it behind me in a week or so!!!

I focused mainly on nursing theorists and theories, understanding different management styles, and delegation/laws. I rescheduled this exam three times but just said to heck with it. You will not know everything just have to know how to answer the questions. I only used SG101 and Ec practice exams. While prepping for repro, same thing but I am utilizing supplemental textbooks and even reading an Nclex book for clarification. Also utilize tge practice exams with Sg101

Thanks!!!!! What is tge????

Thanks!!!!! What is tge????

I think the poster meant the practice exams, not tge practice exams.

Yay! Congrats! I, too, passed Transitions on the same day! I also got a C! haha You are right about the material being really dry and boring. And truth be told I didn't really study very much. I barely even opened a book, so I will take that C!

Now I am onto Health Safety (and really truly studying this time!)!

Thanks!!!!!! ;-)
