Passed Teas :) hopefully start Traviss Career Center LPN Nov. 30

Hello my name is Quanisha , im from Polk County Fl. Recently attended Polk State College in Winter Haven after talking to an admission rep and realizing the honest truth that it would take forever for me to get into the RN program I decided to apply to Traviss Career Center. I took the tabe passed , took the teas today and passed now I'm just waiting and playing stalk the mail box lol...

Anyone in the program or waiting to get in??? I would love to hear from an actual student about there experience and hopefully find a study buddy!☺️

P.s I spoke to someone in health science because I was unsure about the process she asked me what was my score I told her and he exact words were "You will get a good letter in the mail" hope she wasn't just talking because she made my year lol☺️������������������������

Hey My name is Alexus and I'm also trying to get into Traviss for the LPN program. Our stories are similar btw after I completed a year of nursing prerequisites at HCC I've decided to just pursue LPN as well. I've passed the Tabe and I take the Teas on Wednesday (super nervous). Can you tell me how your Teas test experience went?

The science portion wasn't in my opinion fair nor accurate! I studied the ATI book front and back thought I had everything I needed to know down pack but the teas science is more in depth the book only scatches the surface! I wonder how many more test groups they are going to do? Did they tell you or they just gave you a date? I guess maybe until they get there 50? I just pray my score was good enough to get in!

I wish I was given the opportunity to test later but was not! Only dates I knew about where the 26th of August & Sept 2 don't think it's really fair! Although I passed I was told they take the top 50% studying a week more could make a difference....All I can do now is wait!

I agree I read the Science portion front and back also it was incredibly hard. I wanted to take the test later but I was told they already had 45 qualified applicants and I needed to to hurry up and take the test. I did pass and I'm praying I get in as well.

And I only had 5 days to study man I'm nervous and it was like 10 people taking the test.

The start date for Nov. 30th, is that for part time or full time?

It's full time Monday thur Friday 11 months
