The only piece of advice I could give is to be sure and go thru everything in valley. Also, look stuff up in your books as you feel led to. My recipe for success was to look at the "plan" valley gives in the back of the book. I went thru the sweat book section and then the coorisponding section in the memory master. Then i looked up the area or subject and read about it in morgan and mikhail or stoelting co-exsisting diz (which ever book most applied to that area). Then about week or so prior to the exam (I went thru all the materials twice by then.) I focused on the bolts and bullets in memory master and mixed reviews. and also at that time went back thru cardio and pulm and looked up a few things that just popped into my head.
I started in july or august doing an hour to 3 hours a day after clinicals and 8-12 hours each day on weekends. Then I had close to a month of full time studies. Hope this helps!
