Hello fellow IENs!Don't be discouraged by the low passing rate. I would say go for it!I passed the osce last august. It was tedious and quite hard but can be done!Few tips:Read the standards of care in CNO website as well as the examplesReview on physical assessment & history taking plus focus assessmentWatch you tube on how to deal with psyche pts manic/depressive/suicidalsHow to deal with angry pts or relativesHealth teachingsTherapeutic communicationEnd of life care/palliative carePractice in front of a mirror & pretend that you are talking to someone so you can observe your own gestures and tone of voiceGood communication skills is an asset so practice talking Cases are easy its just that its too many and tiring!Invest time practising & reviewing and give your best shotRemember that if you pass it saves you a lot of time & moneyGood luck!!! I don't know if you are aware but HealthForceOntario offers OSCE preparation sessions, look on their website for more information.
hey, i had seen all those and have even registered with HFO,but still,it will be helpful if I could get suggestions or interact with someone. That's the reason I have created this forum. Thanks for the suggestion though!

CNO is College of Nurses Ontario therefore Canada is the country concerned in this thread
