I passed, but how to I obtain my license? Do i have to spend more money?

Which state and which exam? If CA, and the PN, then yes, you do. Otherwise it is paid for when you applied to the BON in your state.

It's been a very long time since I received my initial license, so I don't remember exactly how long it took, but the IL Department of Professional Regulation will send you a license. (2 actually). One is suitable for framing, and one wallet-sized copy. Be prepared to present the larger one to your employer for verification, and pay attention to your renewal information!

I just got mine..it looks like a credit card. It has my name, license #, date of expiration. It has a place at the bottom to sign your name. I did not get a paper copy.
