So im a constant follower of allnurses, it helped me keep going as i was about to take the nclex, so i took my test last saturday (january 11, 2014). I was so nervous when it stopped with 75 questions, i was so sure i failed i felt like i didnt know anything, so i was so scared to try the PVT trick but i ended up doing it anyways and i got the good pop up, like everyone else they would still be unsure if it was true until you get the actual results, so i payed for the quick results and i got a pass, the next day i saw my name on my BON as an active RN, i know i could have waited for another day so i didnt have to pay for the quick result but i was too nervous and i needed to know right away to calm my nerves.
I used the HURST review, and i really felt like it helped me a lot, i wanted to review my content so it was the best review for me, also read the fundamentals chapter on Saunders 6th edition. I also did questions on the online website for the book, i didn't do much, more like 500 questions overall. I also used an ATI book which was used by my cousin when she took the exam last 2012, but for me HURST was the one that helped me pass, my q trainers scores weren't excellent but i guess they were good enough, here are my scores:
q 1 83, q2 88, q3 82, q4 86, q5 90, q6 73 ( i don't know what happened, i took this the day before my exam so imagine my anxiety).
I prayed a lot before, during and after my test, it helped me keep my mind on tract and calmed my nerves. I didnt get enough sleep on the day of my test. More like i couldnt sleep, i slept at 3 am and had to wake up at 5 so i felt like im not my best today, but still i was able to get through with it, so lets keep up with the faith and keep studying we can all reach that dream. Hope this somehow keeps the hope going for everyone thats gonna take their test soon, my prayers are all with you guys. Have faith and study hard. If they can do it why cant you always keep that in mind it helped me push my self to do my best! GO! And you can do it :)

I am so relieved to hear that you got the good pop up, ultimately passed, but that your name wasn't on the BON's website right away. I took the NCLEX-RN today, got the good pop up, but my BON doesn't have my name posted. So then I was like.... oh no what if the PVT isn't accurate?? So seeing your post that it takes the BON a few days is extremely reassuring! Ugh I want Friday to get here so I can get my quick results!
