Passed nclex and still no job

Published

I passed the nclex about a month ago. I have applied to every hospital possible and no response (except a few rejection emails). This week I'm taking BSL, ACLS, and PALS courses to make my application and resume look better. I know I'm being impatient but I owe money to my family, a couple friends, and I am death broke... I feel so rejected by the medical society! Why is it so hard for them to give opportunities to new grads :(

how long did it take you guys to get a job?

There are a lot of opportunities in Central Florida hospital wise.

I already accepted a PCU position at one of the hospitals and I don't graduate until next week.

I dont know if relocating closer to Central Fl is doable or not, but it's something to consider :)

Where did you go to school? I know several Broward grads that had jobs waiting for them to pass NCLEX.

Central Florida is pretty good. I got a hospital job as a new grad LPN before even taking the NCLEX. The new Va hospital is looking hard for people and ORMC is usually looking. FL hospital just had a hiring event so I'm not sure if they would have anything.

Hi! Were you able to find a job in South Florida?
