The only advice I can really give you is "repetition." I went over the rationales sometimes twice and would retake the trainers twice especially trainers 6 and 7...and write down what you think your having the most trouble with and go over that content and rationale more often but don't spend too much time on it...let me know how you did K? Best of wishes to you and God bless you

Hi everyone I am a Cerritos College grad. I graduated 12/2015, got my ATT in late January, and tested in the middle of February. It took two weeks for my results to post on CA's BREEZE website because the BRN did not process my school's transcripts. All the other students that tested after me and passed, got their results within 3 days.
I only had 3 weeks to study for the nclex and I passed with 75 questions. I got a total of 16 SATA.
I wanted to share with everyone my technique. I studied only Kaplan questions. I did all the qbanks, trainers, and nclex samples. I did not read into any content or other books, or watch any videos whatsoever. I strictly stuck with Kaplan's online "NCLEX prep." After I took the kaplan exams, I focused heavily on the rationales especially the ones I got wrong. I read over the rationales as much as I could. I took down my own notes for my own review. I did not read my notes until the morning before the day of my examination. It took me about 4 hrs to read all my notes then after I read my notes, I showered, exercised, and relaxed all day before my exam. I went to bed around 10pm and woke up around 7am. I showered, ate, did a little bit of exercise and off I went to take my nclex examination.
I did the PVT 24 hrs after my test and got the "good pop."
Hope this helps you guys in some way.
Best wishes to future nclex RN test takers!!! :)
