Passed nclex rn with 75 questions
The only advice I can really give you is "repetition." I went over the rationales sometimes twice and would retake the trainers twice especially trainers 6 and 7...and write down what you think your having the most trouble with and go over that content and rationale more often but don't spend too much time on it...let me know how you did K? Best of wishes to you and God bless you

Let me know how it went K? I highly recommend Kaplan if you're able to get it at this time...I feel Kaplan really prepared me well for the nclex RN

New grad job search in riverside & san bernardino county
Hi everyone I wanted to reach out to all the new grads and let you all know that Loma Linda Medical Center is always hiring for new grad RN's. If you go onto their job website and view all the nursing job titles (Clinical Nurse B), that's a new grad position (long as it doesn't state "not a new grad position.") The key to getting into Loma Linda is a good cover letter, letters of recommendations, and persistence!!! Keep on submitting as many applications as you can for all the new grad positions and call HR to inquire about your status applications. The HR staff are really nice. I submitted 6 applications and got called to 2 interviews. I was offered 1 position but didn't get the other position which I am so thankful to GOD for. All Glory to God. Make no mistake about that :) Riverside County hospital aka Riverside University Health Systems also hire new grads, you just have to really read their job posting because it won't say "new grad," but in fact it is. So just read RUHS' job posting very carefully because most of the time, they don't advertise new grads. San Bernardino also hire new grads, just check their job website!!! I hope this helps some of you out. Best of wishes and success on your job search journey. Take care.

Passed nclex rn with 75 questions
Hi everyone I am a Cerritos College grad. I graduated 12/2015, got my ATT in late January, and tested in the middle of February. It took two weeks for my results to post on CA's BREEZE website because the BRN did not process my school's transcripts. All the other students that tested after me and passed, got their results within 3 days. I only had 3 weeks to study for the nclex and I passed with 75 questions. I got a total of 16 SATA. I wanted to share with everyone my technique. I studied only Kaplan questions. I did all the qbanks, trainers, and nclex samples. I did not read into any content or other books, or watch any videos whatsoever. I strictly stuck with Kaplan's online "NCLEX prep." After I took the kaplan exams, I focused heavily on the rationales especially the ones I got wrong. I read over the rationales as much as I could. I took down my own notes for my own review. I did not read my notes until the morning before the day of my examination. It took me about 4 hrs to read all my notes then after I read my notes, I showered, exercised, and relaxed all day before my exam. I went to bed around 10pm and woke up around 7am. I showered, ate, did a little bit of exercise and off I went to take my nclex examination. I did the PVT 24 hrs after my test and got the "good pop." Hope this helps you guys in some way. Best wishes to future nclex RN test takers!!! :)
