I am SO happy you passed RN!
But I do debunk the myth of having so many SATA that you will pass. I only got 5-6 SATA and passed with 75 questions. Maybe I was lucky but just wanted to put it out there for those who are testing in the future and think they need many SATA to pass [:
Happy job hunting RN! Go save peoples lives!

Hello everyone!
I would like to share my story on how I passed Nclex-RN in 75 questions!
I scheduled my test for two months after I got my ATT> so, I got my ATT mid-Feb and scheduled test for mid-April. This is because I am currently still enrolled in a bachelor's program and knew I would not have time to dedicate solely to studying. I would spread it out in between my course work.
How I studied:
- KAPLAN (paid $500 through my Nursing school's program)
- Saunders (got login info from my nursing school classmate)
- NCLEX Mastery APP (Best $30 I have ever spent on an APP EVER!)
- Delgation practice book
I started with content review with the Kaplan book and then started doing 75-100 questions/day using the Kaplan Q-bank the month prior to my test. I dedicated a good month to studying, especially the two weeks leading upto my exam.
- KAPLAN will prepare you for answering the questions on the NCLEX.
-PRACTICE makes PERFECT.
-Believe in your answers, DON'T CHANGE THEM! This is what I did so many times and would regret it.
-Do the practice questions on the Nclex Mastery App.... they helped me alot! Especially the boat load of SATA's.
***DAY BEFORE TEST, I did the last QT on Kaplan and scored 59%***
Couldn't sleep the night before and got only about two hours of sleep. I woke up with such anxiety, stress and panic and thought I would FOR SURE fail the exam.
**Somehow I got 50 SATA's, a few Put in Order questions, exhibit questions and the rest Multiple choice..
** THE MORE SATA QUESTIONS YOU SEE, THE MORE LIKELY YOU ARE ABOVE THE PASSING LINE!!!! I thought I failed when the computer stopped at 75 and cried my eyes out driving back home at 0930... I took my test on a Friday and was constantly checking the BRN website for my name throughout the weekend... I checked again Monday and nothing! I did not do the pop up trick because I heard it does not work and it will eat your money either way if you pass or fail. SO i waited patiently until Tuesday morning and I was officially REGISTERED NURSE!!!!!****
Now I am anxiously applying for jobs in hopes of getting hired somewhere, ANYWHERE!
Please pray for me.. I really want to get a job and start my career!
If you get alot of SATA questions, stopped at 75, and cry, then you definitely PASSED the TEST! WOOO!
