Hi
I recently passed my Canadian NCLEX-RN and I am left with my residence proof and English proficiency requirement(as I am an international graduate from India). I have sent my work permit to CNO and for English requirement my colleges have sent them my transcripts and letters as English was one of the courses I studied during my programs in Canada. My employer has also sent them a reference letter for whom I used to work as a recruiter in Canada. My evidence practice is expiring on May 23, 2015. I am highly concerned that will I be able to get registered before my evidence practice expires because I cannot afford to go back to school for another year and if I will go back home to renew my practice that will effect my status here as immigration is very strict. I want to know if someone has faced same problem like me, if did then what you have done. Please help me.

Unfortunately CNO are busy and therefore takes a while for them to get back to you. Is there anyway you could contact them via phone and talk to someone about your case and that you are running out of time to meet certain things?

you can talk to them they do entertain every one's concern.... i have similar case but instead my ielts will expire which is not a big issue as yours. how long cno takes to issue license after finishing all requirements? mine nclex is due next week ... i have send them my PR and license verification since march but they have not update the status yet... its under verification
moreover even if you have studied english in India.. they wont exempt your ielts if its been more than 2 years since graduation.
in which year you graduated?
its not compulsory to show practice if u were graduated with in three years
I studied English as a course during my two certification programs in Canada.
I graduated in 2011 then I worked for 6 months

I had called them many times regarding this whole situation, they said there is no specific time period for these things.

What type of school did you study English at? A public community college or university? or a private school?
preetinderj how long ago did you submit your evidence of English? A previous poster 'ien.P' said it took CNO 6 months to assess their evidence of English, (if you use the search button you may be able to find their thread).
I studied Nursing Leadership and management Program at Seneca College Toronto and English was one of the course I took during this program, I also studied General Arts and Science which also included English course. Some of my friends have met their English requirement on basis of that, but I don't know how long CNO will take to assess.
