Passed NCLEX RN April 2016

Hi Future RN's!!!

Just want to share my review materials. I took the NCLEX this month (April 2016) and PASSED! All glory and honor to Lord Jesus Christ!!!

Here are my review materials:

1. Hurst Review - helped me a lot! I graduated 1998 and felt like i really need to brush up on my core contents and this helped me a lot, learned a lot from this I swear!

2. Kaplan Premiere Strategies - It was okay, I finished the entire book but felt like I didn't learn so much. It wasn't that helpful.

3. Lippincott Q&A - Helped me the most! This book was so difficult I wanted to tear and burn it almost everytime but I must say this really had my critical thinking working to the moon and back. Higly recommended.

4. La Charity Prioritization - Super helpful! Most of the questions I got during my exam is SATA and prioritization and this is another book that saved my butt. I swear you have to review this one.

5. Exam Cram (latest edition) - I reviewed it last. It was also helpful. Not as difficult as Lippincott and La Charity but helpful.

So there you go, hope this helps somehow.

Goodluck everyone!

Congratulations. I also used Lippincott q&a, I just finished the whole book. What was your range score in Lippincott? This book is really hard. I seldom got 75% and above with tthis book. I think my scores ranges from 60-80%.

Thanks.

Don't worry I seldom got 75% either there are even chapters where i got below 60%. You should be fine just make sure you go back to the questions you've missed. By the way i reviewed all the way up to half of the book then i skipped to the 6 final practice test.

No problem. Goodluck! I'm sure you'll do great.
