I am a pregnant mommy who took nclex and passed with 75 questions. It was so overwhelming and I am so happy! To the pregnant mommies out there who are going to take NCLEX, my prayers for you all and God speed.

Hi hello to the nurses out there!

I just want to share my story about my nclex journey. I am a graduate of nursing 2007 in the Philippines and just arrived here in the US Oct of last year. I started processing my paper March 2015 and at the same time I found out that I was a month pregnant. It was not an easy journey but i made it! So to the pregnant mommies out there planning to take nclex..you can do it!

I was 36 weeks pregnant when i took nclex. With the mix of emotions, discomfort and the fear that I might go to labor anytime especially the fear of not passing and disappointing my husband and family was overwhelming. But I realized I was just stressing myself. Have faith! Trust God and pray! I'll say I wont make it through without the help of the Almighty one. I know HE is the reason why I passed and I am so blessed. So, That is my advice, PRAY. I am even praying every time I answer every item and asked if it was the right choice and He gave me sense of peace if it was. He will help you get through!

Anyways, this is how I prepared for the NCLEX and the materials I used

1. I used Saunder's Book and finished it cover to cover reading one chapter a day starting March.

2. Kaplan Online Review with Q-bank starting June.I think this helped me a lot to prepare.

3. PDA by Lacharity - it made choosing delegation questions in the exam easier. Answered All the questions ( sept)

4. Nclex Mastery App - I answer Questions anywhere I go.

I scheduled my exam OCt 2 and Oct 3 was my baby shower party hehe.It was tiring but fulfilling and I am so relieved it is now over so I can focus with my little one. I found out that I pass NCLEX through quick result Oct 4.

Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and also on your new bundle of joy that's coming!

Congratulations mommy! I am also a 2007 graduate here in the Philippines. Recently found out I was pregnant this January with my second baby. I have been planning to take the NCLEX this 2018 for a while now. Do you think a 4 month review timeframe would be sufficient?
