I have passed my registration exam! (Exciting!) But now I am waiting for my criminal record to be reviewed by the executive of the CNO. My charges happened more than five years ago and I am in the process of getting a pardon although I haven't received my pardon yet. The charge was similar to a DUI. I have a few questions :)
ANY input would be amazing!
Thank You!

Well what kind of charges? Murder, manslaughter and justifiable homicide not likely to receive pardons.

"similar to a DUI"? Are we talking possession of a controlled substance?
I've known nurses who have had their licences suspended for that. And didn't make a difference if it was for personal use or sales.
Case by case decision. But an employer might have issues.

Did you search CNO under discipline decisions- criminal record? There are several, eye-opening, discipline results regarding nurses with drug related criminal records.
