Passed Chronicity today it was a tough exam, but now I'm studying for Reproductive. Any helpful tips?

I have been using Modules too and tape recording the things to know and listening to them in my care.

Cissy that's what I was gonna suggest. My name is Jaquetta (Jaqweetta) I'm a new LPN and I work in a hospital on a Telemetry floor. That would be great to go through this with somone else. I've started studying repro with the LPN books I have and my SG101 should be to my house by Tuesday. So far my grades have been an A in Health Safety and C in Chronicity

Review the content guide for the exams and buy the practice exams. Also a lot of people have said SG101 and Saunder Nxclex (yellow/red book) is a good source for review.

That sounds like my plan! I've Taken Health safety and Chronicity. After repro I plan to take LS1, LS2, LS3 and then transition. I have to take information literacy too, but I'm gonna wait til the Sept 5th -Oct 30th session begins (I'm running out of funds:clown:). Do you have to take info lit.? I've been hearing repro is pretty straight foward, so we should do fine!

A little advice for you. SAVE some money. SAVE some time.....go to PennFoster for Info. Lit. It's only $115 and you can take it ANYTIME instead of waiting for Excelsior time windows. This way it's less expensive and you aren't waiting. This is approved by Excelsior BUT make sure you email your academic advisor and get "permission" as will all outside credits.

Thanks so much for the advice. Do you remember how long info. lit. was through Pennfoster and is it still pass fail. I guess I could look this up too. It's so helpful having people that have already been through the process. Thanks again.

You have to earn a C or better. Two students I talked to said it was easy but I did not find it easy. I had to take it twice. It was still cheaper than EC though. It took me about 3 to 4 hours to complete.

Why don't you download the SG101 info? I often wonder this cause most people get the cds. Am I missing something? Do you have facebook? Maybe you can request me? I'd love to go through this with you. I took this w/e from studying but will get sg101 tomorrow and begin my studies. I take test on July 8th.

I'm so new to this I didn't know I could downdload SG101... I ordered mine last week and it should be to my house by tomorrow or Tuesday. Yes I have Facebook Jaquetta Unique George and I live in Minnesota. Wow! Info lit. only takes hours with Pennfoster. That's time saving. Ok send me a friend request or I can request you too, so we can go over everything.

You can also do the English requirement at Penn Foster for credit - it's a little cheaper and some have told me alot easier than EC's. Also, if you email [email protected] she will send you the download if you've already purchased the CD, for free. Kass

Congratulations on passing Chronicity!! I took it about 2 weeks ago and passed it with a B!! I am also pretty new to EC. I have taken health safety, chronicity, and info lit so far. I am getting ready for repro. Then I plan on taking LS1, 2, 3, and then transitions. We are all in this together so let's keep on supporting each other!! WAY TO GO!!!
