Passaic County Technical-Vocational Schools (PCTVS) - LPN Program 2018

Hello all!

I am applying for entrance into the LPN program at Passaic County Technical Institute in New Jersey and was wondering if anyone else here is either currently applying, is currently in the program, or has graduated from the program. For those of you who are in the program or graduated, I would love to hear some feedback in regards to the classes, clinical sites, and professors. I would also like to hear how some of you paid for the program or if you received any financial aid. I don't believe this program qualifies for the Pell Grant or Tag.

Any information would be very appreciated :yes:

Hi s.alejo! I'm curious as to whether or not you attended the program at PCTI? I'm set to start next month.

Hi jen128! I will not be attending the program as I cannot afford the tuition out of pocket. The program does not offer any financial aid and my only other option would be to borrow a loan with crazy high interest or pay out of pocket.

Purpleicious89...Congrats! I just came back from vacation. I haven't received any info on orientation, have you? I'm all paid up with tuition and everything, but they never actually sent me the acceptance letter that they say they were sending. So, I have no idea what info I am missing.

Hey Jen128! No, I haven't received an acceptance letter yet either. I'm all paid up as well. Orientation is this Friday, August 3rd at 9 am. I also believe they were working on getting the letters out when I went 2 weeks ago. However, they should've been sent out by now. As long as you're not missing any additional paperwork you're good.

Hey Jen128, no problem. I have no idea. I basically made sure I had nothing else to do until later in the day. I'm sure if you or me call this week to ask, they will say. I know they only have an evening secretary right now, so its been hectic for them to deal with both programs (day and evening).

Jen128, Oh great! Thank you. We can pick up our books early? I thought they were going to give them to us during orientation. If so, I'll stop by tomorrow and get them.

Purplelicious89, I received an email a few days ago that gave days and times we could pick them up (for last week and this week).
