How do you pass time while waiting to be accepted into the LPN program? I finished all my prereq's this summer and have turned in my application to the program. The only thing is that the deadline isn't until November 1st., all I do is think about getting in all day long, as well as, feeling like crying. What must I do to pass time?

Idk what area you're in but I would apply to other schools or I'd pick up hours at work, browse for places you think you'd want to work once you finish school.

Same here!í ½í¸ží ½í¸•í ½í¸• my program doesn't start til January but I'm done wit all my admission stuff.

Work as much as possible, save as much money as possible you will need it. If you have kids make sure you have a back up plan. If you have your program book lists and are paying out pocket start getting them now. You have more time to find bargains. Start reading the first 3 chpts in your textbooks if possible better to be ahead. Come with a Schedule rather you are part-time or full-time. Get plenty rest as possible and spend time with family, friends because you want have anytime when school start. Sleep while you can.

The school I'm applying to is very easy to get into. There is no waiting list. As long as you have completed your prerequisites, taken the teas test, and your gpa is at least a 2.5 or more you are in. The trick is that you must pay attention and pass your classes to stay in. They are one of the top schools here in Alabama but if you don't keep up you will flunk out. The deadline is near so hopefully by or before thanksgiving I should know something.

I'm in the same boat as you. I took my entrance exam last week and all that's left is the financial aid stuff. The deadline is Nov 20th so I'm hoping that I'll have an answer by the middle of Dec since the program starts in Jan. The wait is a little nerve wracking but at least it's not that long. If it was a year vs. a couple months I think I'd go mad lol. I wish everyone good luck with their applications, hopefully all of us will receive a acceptance letter in the mail.:smug:

I got in not one but two schools, class for both start January 11, 2016 it's a 12 month program. I'm going to go to the school that I've completed all my preq's at. And have faith God will carry me through.

Congrats! I got in as well.

Best of luck, I'm in GA and we go through a selection system which I applied in October but, will not find out if you are selected until the week after Christmas. I've been nervous since then but I'm claiming my spot for PN program.

Keep Praying God has all of our backs.

Yes, I was super nervous, while waiting to see if I got in. Still am, because I don't want to mess up . So far, things have been working in my favor, I'm a self paying student, my financial aid ran out, so I will be paying out of pocket. Found someone who doesn't want to sell her books but is willing to let me borrow them instead. God is good, I'll keep you all in my prayer for your decision. Let me know how things came out in your favor.
