I have applied already...anyone else?
It's intense! We just started clinicals and there are a lot of tests every week! For those of you who are not used to NCLEX style questions and the nursing definition of critical thinking, it takes some getting used to! Especially if your education background is in something completely different.
Does pasadena use ATI or HESI?
I applied to Pasadena for generic RN program for Spring 2014. Does anyone know if they will take the second attempt score for Teas? I didn't pass the first time, but I got an 80% my second time and that is the score I sent them. I haven't gotten an email or letter or anything back from them yet. Patiently waiting!!!!

I also applied to Pasadena's ADN program for Spring 2014 entry. Though I'm not quite what their rules are in regards to which TEAS scores they will accept. Perhaps you should call them to be sure. Wish I could be more of help, but calling them directly would be your best bet!
Hi everyone!
I've applied to PCC also for Spring 2014 and they said that most likely they will start emailing people by Nov 1st. The lady said it's a little too early to check on them.
Yup! the wait time is killing all of us! Good luck to everybody! if not PCC, hope you guys get in somewhere else.
Keep us posted for those of you who got accepted already for Spring 2014.
Hi everyone! I also applied to PCC's bridge program for Spring '14. I was chosen as an alternate and I'm impatiently waiting to hear more exciting news! Good luck to everyone! [:
When did u received your email..I got mine last month Sept 20. Is there a difference of getting it earlier or later, or just same chances??

Did you apply this past summer with the august 1 deadline for the bridge program? The one in fall starts Nov 5 and most of our alternate dates end Nov 6

I took the HESI and the questions were tough! The directions said something to the effect of "they're all correct, so choose the BEST answer." It's definitely a different style of test taking! Challenging but really interesting. I can't imagine how the questions must be for the NCLEX. How are clinicals?
Where are you doing them? I can't wait to get in somewhere, work my butt off and become a nurse!!
