Wanted to start a thread since no one hasn't done so yet! This is my first time applying and a bit nervous. 😬
Range of applicants according to the FAQ range from 79-90 points. LFG!

IDK about other school, but not at PCC. My husband graduated from PCC and he told me that they didn't tell him which hospital until a week before the clinical started.

Ah I see, thats not even a factor I considered. I mean I did consider which hospitals the school is connected to, but not in terms of scheduling. I visited the Foothill campus last week, and that campus is a lot smaller than the main campus. Is this where your husband did all of his lectures and labs? The foothill campus?

yea he graduated 4 years ago.

My house is 33miles away from Mtsac and 9miles from PCC 🤣 I wanted to go PCC at first, but I changed my mind since Mtsac has better offers 😁
Congrats! And here I am complaining how one of the ADN programs I got accepted to is 18 miles away from me (30 mins by freeway) 😩🙃🫠

PCC is 18 miles from my house! 40-50 mins cause of traffic. LOL Love and Hate LA
Side note: Anybody here going to try and get into the integrative pathway enrollment with APU?

ELAC is so extra... I ended up not applying there even though distance-wise it was okay for me. There's this one professor [MODERATOR REMOVED INITIALS/IDENTIFIERS] she just read everything off the powerpoint presentation for their ADN program...word for word
I could've read the slides myself and she had a lot of complaints on Rate My Professor how she fails people cause she makes her class extra hard. Definitely dodged a bullet.
Good point to check rate my professor for the nursing department. I haven't even thought of that actually, although I've been using it for all my pre reqs. Have you checked PCC's nursing instructors? Also for nursing school, are there a lot of different instructors you can choose for a particular class? I thought it might be a more tight and regulated schedule that students just have to follow, unlike pre reqs where you are able to select from dozens of professors and make your own schedule

It's definitely more tight and regulated. I would just go on their scheduler like you're registering for a class (Nursing in this case) and look at the schedule and professors listed. Then go on RMP
