  1. Mine was also rejected. "Thank you for your submission. You have submitted your 2024-2025 covid vaccine, however your school requires documentation of an updated 2023-2024 COVID-19 vaccine dated after 09/12/2023. You can contact your school for further approval OR an updated 2023-2024 vaccine." I contacted and emailed someone in the nursing department, but they have not responded to it yet
  2. Does anyone have any information on the background check portion? I've had to use castle branch for Rio Hondo and I already did a background check there, and my clearance shows on Castle Branch. Is that why I'm not having to do a separate one for pcc? Can someone look and confirm for me if there is a background check portion on castle branch please? Also can we create a group for our cohort! ?
  3. I thought maybe we would have to order with the school..? Arent there school patches and stuff on the uniform?
  4. Good point to check rate my professor for the nursing department. I haven't even thought of that actually, although I've been using it for all my pre reqs. Have you checked PCC's nursing instructors? Also for nursing school, are there a lot of different instructors you can choose for a particular class? I thought it might be a more tight and regulated schedule that students just have to follow, unlike pre reqs where you are able to select from dozens of professors and make your own schedule
  5. PCC is 18 miles from my house! 40-50 mins cause of traffic. LOL Love and Hate LA Side note: Anybody here going to try and get into the integrative pathway enrollment with APU?
  6. Ah I see, thats not even a factor I considered. I mean I did consider which hospitals the school is connected to, but not in terms of scheduling. I visited the Foothill campus last week, and that campus is a lot smaller than the main campus. Is this where your husband did all of his lectures and labs? The foothill campus?
  7. Oh wow, thats how long it takes me, or even more to get to PCC because of LA traffic LOL. Yea those are some nice incentives! Are you normally not allowed to pick the hospital you do clinicals at? Also you got accepted into everywhere haha Good stuff
  8. ELAC definitely sent an email in regards to applications and interview. Also an email after the interview as well! 33 miles?! Oh wow, that's actually kind of far no? Can I ask you what intrigued you about Mtsac so much, that you're willing to drive that far?
  9. That's super awesome! Glad you were able to pick the program of your choice~ Well I was debating between ELAC and PCC, and I believe I'll be going to PCC. I was really intrigued by their integrative enrollment pathway program with APU. PCC's commute will be 17 miles vs 10 miles to ELAC, but I think this is a sacrifice I'll make for 2 years LOL. Hopefully I've made the right decision
  10. I've taken a few drug tests already in prep of other programs in the past few weeks, but they are 10 panel and 12 panel. Probably won't be sufficient huh? Also, how do we take it at PCC? Do we have to call their health science department and make an appointment?
  11. You received your acceptance, and then sent the PDF files attached, and have not gotten a confirmation? I got the acceptance letter 11/1, emailed them back 11/3, and received the confirmation email 11/4
  12. Hi Everyone, Does anybody know how much the whole program is going to cost for two years? Like just the tuition portion and lab materials and textbooks. I am not asking about cost of living and stuff included.
  13. letter K. Congrats on the acceptance!! Where else did you get into?
  14. Oh I see. Well it all worked out! Now you can get your ADN att PCC and do their bridge program with their sister schools and do an extra few semesters and get your BSN too! I think its a total of 3 years rather than 4, if you take the ADN too BSN route. don't quote me though, I may be wrong. Either way, congratulations again!
