Pasadena City College LVN to RN application 2023

Published

Hello all! I am starting a new thread for PCC LVN to RN career ladder program. I applied again for the second time. This is for the July application cycle with a start during the Winter intersession. Would like to know who else applied to this program. Good luck to all! :)

Guys! I got mine too! This is so awesome! Can't wait to meet you all!! Congrats everyone!

Is PCC everyone's first choice too? Hehe

It was my first choice! I recently applied to APUs LVN to BSN and planned on applying to other CCs for Spring if this one didn't work out. I'm so happy I don't have to worry about that anymore?

Hi Everyone,

Has anyone had difficulty submitting their intent forms to PCC? I received a message that my email was blocked due to PII data. I emailed ------------------------- and will call to follow up.

Hi Lizzy!
Yes I had trouble too I think it's because the social security number gets blocked through the Pcc email. So I just emailed -------------------- through an outside email with my first and last name and she emailed me back stating that the forms were received.

Hello, I tried to use my PCC email to email myself something and it also was blocked for me. I had to email my forms from my personal Gmail

Hopefully this blocked message doesn't prevent us from getting our packets.

I tried to reverse it and send an email from my Gmail to my PCC email and it was also blocked

Hopefully not but at least we know the packets are supposed to be sent out the week of October 9th. Once I get them I'll let you guys know on here. Also I emailed PCC IT department and they basically just said it's because something isn't encrypted snd that I would have to call the sender but like I said I just used a personal email instead of my Pcc one.

Thanks so much for letting me know. I'll call for sure tomorrow morning if I don't receive an email from -------------------------------.

Has anyone received their packet yet?

No not yet, I recieved an email about orientation though

I think we are going to get those packets next week.

Yes I only received the orientation email as well! But the packer should be sent the week of the 9th!

Has anyone seen that you can do your ADN at PCC and BSN with Azusa Pacific at the same time with PCC. I'm not sure how it works, but seemed interesting!

Yes, I saw, I want to do it.. I opened an application for it with APU but haven't finished it yet. I think our orientation will let us know more about it.
