Pasadena City College ADN Fall 2023

Hey Everyone! Just thought I'd make a thread for PCC's Fall 2023 ADN applicants. This is my first time applying and applications open up the week of April 1 - April 15. I have also applied to other schools like College of the Canyons, Pierce College, Glendale College, Antelope Valley College, Butte College. I wish everyone the best of luck! 

Hi everyone, it says on the PCC website that the nursing application opened April 1, but I can't seem to access it. When I click on the application link it says "The application period has closed and we are not accepting applications at this time." Is anyone else having this issue?

I haven't checked yet but maybe it will open on Monday since its the beginning of the work week?

Hello, I'm trying to apply for PCC as well. I thought they will open their application on April 1st. Am I the only one having trouble submitting application? It says session is closed.

I'm m not able to access it either.

Currently, this is what the application says: "The application will open on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, and close on April 19, 2023." Probably some technical errors

Thank you for letting me know. For sending TEAS score(transcript), are we allowed to send it before the application opens?

I sent all my transcripts already to PCC, I would personally recommend doing so because for one of my other apps I waited to send transcripts and it was not received on time

Do they accept official transcripts electronically or do they need to be hard copy official transcripts ?

Im doing the application now and they require a hard copy that you open yourself and scan them. Then you attach it as a PDF. 

From the Application Form 

"Order official transcripts from each of your institutions or third-party vendor via postal mail. These will come to your residence by mail. Once you receive them please open the transcripts. We understand once you have opened them they are now unofficial, we assure you this is okay. The opened transcripts are now your belonging and your own personal records to keep. Please scan and save as a pdf to your computer or to a USB. Scan all page of your transcript including the transcript legend which is the last page of your transcript. Once you have scanned and saved all pages of your transcripts, please change the title to the name of the college you attended. If your pdf combines several college transcripts together and includes more than one college then title it as 'All College Transcripts'. Now that you have re-labeled the pdf, you can upload each pdf to the online application."

Is anyone else receiving this error? 

I add my transcripts and when I hit next it says Im not adding anything into the transcript field.

I'm not too sure because while it does say that, it also says:

I think they mean that you can do it both ways. hardcopy or electronically, regardless you are opening them and submitting them that "opened" transcript.
