Part time Educator

Hello fellow nurses I have a question for those of you who are instructors either and the clinical area lecture or both. I currently do both at teach 2 classes plus I have a clinical group. My problem is that I am considered adjunct faculty they reduced my hours from 28 to 20 so now I'm trying to find a part-time job to supplement that income. My question to you is have you ever had a difficulty getting a floor nurse or any other type of bedside nursing because of your MSN? I've been a nurse for 18 years with a wealth of experience in ICU rehab and med-surg. The only experience I don't have is in Pediatrics and labor and delivery. I did try LTC once and absolutely hated it. Sorry for the long post I just wanted to know if you guys have this situation as I do? I see no future full-time clinical instructors positions open in my nearby colleges. So I want a second job. Any advice is much appreciated

I worked at the bedside with an MSN for several years, and had 5 or 6 co-workers who had them as well.

Also working at the bedside with an MSN like a number of my coworkers and teaching on the side. There is no hiring "prejudice" against nurses with higher degrees because we don't get paid more for having the MSN.
