For people who interviewed with a med surge unit, how did your interview go!?

Has anyone that was offered a position been sent their offer yet?

I interviewed with Acute Medical unit, the hiring managers were asking me around 10 questions and 3,4 of them were clinical questions.

I received an offer from BICU and would love to connect with anyone who also is accepting their offer!

Wow, many congrats! I'm still waiting to hear from BACU after my interview. Gives me hope I'll have an acceptance/denial soon.

That's really crazy for not giving you an opportunity for all those years. I'm really ssorry. May be you could talk to someone about this?

It's OK, it all worked out. I ended up getting accepted to a L&D fellowship that actually pays me substantially more than Parkland would have. Parkland's base pay was less than I made in my old position when I previously worked there. Although it hurt, rejection was apart of the course to receive  my actual blessing.

If you don't mind me asking, are you a new grad?

I have 7 months of acute care RN experience. Some facilities would consider me a new grad and others wouldn't. I graduated with a BSN last Summer.
