Do any of yall know why Parkland's NICU Residency for 2015 isn't beginning until September?

New Parkland is scheduled to open August 20th.Time is needed for transitioning to new hospital and to figure out staffing needs.
Makes sense, thank you!

I've been searching since February for Parklands L&D residency. Did I miss it or has it not opened yet? I only see that NICU one and then one that says "6 West" and I honestly have no idea what that means. :/ lol

I have applied to SICU, MICU, and ER residencies. I am interested in Burn ICU but have not seen it posted. Was wondering if any of you had seen it maybe before me and it already got taken down? Also, has anyone received any e-mails back about your applications?

I've applied to Parkland for awhile as well...about a month ago I got an email saying that my L&D application had been forwarded to the hiring manager, but I haven't heard anything else since. I also applied to the NICU but haven't heard anything. I'm getting really discouraged Any suggestions? Has anyone interviewed or heard back about Parkland's September 2015 NICU or L&D residencies?

Does any one know if parkland already interview for the NICU for the September internship?
Just got an email yesterday about an invitation to interview for the L&D residency! So I think they're just starting to send out emails! Btw, the L&D residency starts in September as well.
That is so exciting, good luck! I hope I get an interview invitation, I'll be anxiously checking my email!!! I wonder how many L&D and NICU positions there are?
Well, I actually declined the interview invitation due to already accepting a position at Methodist Dallas. It was a hard decision, because Parkland was one of my top choices, but I really love Methodist and need to start working asap! I have a feeling the September thing might scare a few people away so that's a benefit for people who don't mind the wait! :)
