Parkland Hospital Summer 2017 GN

Published

Hello!!

I am a senior nursing student graduating in May 2017 from Maine. I am moving to Dallas after graduation and want to do a new graduate nurse residency program. I was wondering if anyone knows when the positions for Parklands' New Grad programs for the summer 2017 cohorts will be posted?

Thanks!

Kailey

Oh great I already took mine for ER as well.

Those of you that accepted the ER residency, does anyone know if someone has made a fb page for us?

i haven't heard anything regarding a Facebook page. Let me know if you hear anything!

I emailed also and didn't hear anything either. I can't even focus the anticipation is killing me and I have my HESI exit exam tomorrow.

Yay! Awesome, I still haven't heard anything. I also have an interview Monday with inpatient rehab! Good luck today!!

Has anyone heard back from Burn ICU? Also do y'all know how many people they are accepting for that position?

Did you take the PCU/SICU position? I am interested in applying. However, I am wondering what the likelihood is that you can move to ICU side within the three year contract. I don't mind paying my dues working PCU but I want to know I can eventually increase my skills in ICU. I wonder if all of Parkland's ICU residencies start new grads in PCU.

I heard that the residency is one week of classroom learning and the next week is working a shift with a nurse. No hours guaranteed as they can't guarantee preceptors.

Did you hear back from Dulce ?
