I created this thread for the applicants and subsequent future Parkland Interns for 2021's Critical Care and Trauma Nurse Internship to communicate and connect.

Not originally but I've been here for 3 years now. Still can't say I know much about the area though tbh since I've mostly stayed around my college campus that's in between Dallas and Fort Worth.

I guess we’re all in pretty similar boats! I wonder if they have a list of recommended apartments near the hospital?

The apartments near Parkland are a bit more expensive since it's right in the city. You can search up Dallas apartment locators on Google or even Instagram and it will give you a lot to choose from. For free, you tell them what you're looking for and they send you a list of possible options and can even set up for you to view them. Plus in some cases they will give you a few hundred as a move in credit.

Okay, thank you. I ask because I’m about to retract an offer that I accepted at another hospital and I want to be 100% sure that I have this job before I reject the other one LOL
