I created this thread for the applicants and subsequent future Parkland Interns for 2021's Critical Care and Trauma Nurse Internship to communicate and connect.

Did anyone get an offer to interview for the critical care nurse residency today?

I wonder if they’re going to notify us if we’re not receiving an offer. Does anyone know? Or do we just assume that we didn’t since we haven’t heard anything

I thought thats what this is? Critical care and trauma nurse residency that’s 32 weeks long. That’s what I applied for at least! What did you get an offer for?

Yes its quite confusing.. there's an 18 week Critical Care residency and an 32 week CC and Trauma Nurse Internship... so there will be at one time Parkland residents and interns in the ICU's.

Hey! I noticed its been a little while since this thread was active... Have people been hearing anything back from Parkland this week?

I still have not. ??‍♀️ I was under the impression that they would reach out to us either way, but it’s not looking like that’s the case.

Aw okay, thanks! I heard back yesterday - by phone call not email - but I am from out of town and I was hoping to get in contact with other people who will be in the internship. I hope that you hear back soon! I really don't think they will leave everyone hanging...

Oh wow, I didn't know they were still going to be reaching out to people at this time. I'm also going to be in it ?

OMG congrats! I was surprised too - I thought I for sure didn’t get it since I didn’t hear back last week. Are you from the DFW area? I’m from San Antonio and have only really visited Dallas one time

I got the initial offer email!!?? I missed it initially but searched “Parkland” in the email search and it came up!

True I don’t think they will leave anyone hanging! I’m also from out of town and got an offer email! I have never been to Dallas and it’s been intimidating trying to find a place from thousands of miles away!

Not originally but I've been here for 3 years now. Still can't say I know much about the area though tbh since I've mostly stayed around my college campus that's in between Dallas and Fort Worth.
