Hello! I'm a Texas paramedic with 11yrs experience currently bridging to RN using Excelsior. I've worked full time in an emergency room for the past 2 years and part time on the ambulance. The hospital I work in does not see pediatric patients or have a L&D area. I should be done with my RN Fall 2010 and hope to specialize in L&D. Can anyone advise me on steps I can start taking to prepare me to work in that area?
