paramedic to rn start to finish

Published

Hello to all that read this. Today is 10/7/2015. After hurting my back again lifting a 280 lb patient up stairs from a basement, I decided I needed a change. I found the Excelsior College bridge paramedic to rn program. I spoke to the admissions, they were very nice paid my 100 bucks and they have 4 of my six college transcripts. I will update this thread everytime something new happens in my journey even if its not great news. I have read so many articles on this site, it is now my turn to share.

Hi and good luck! I'm currently going through the process of registering and getting started, currently waiting on the VA.

I thank you for posting this, as it has been a big motivator for finally taking the jump. Please continue to update us on any progress.

Hello guys,

I have completed 10 exams so far & the information literacy class online. I am currently studying for foundation in nursing & health safety. I am looking to be finished with all of my classes by January.

I get so excited every time I pass an exam because I know I'm one step closer to earning my degree. This has been very challenging for me. I have a 4yr old & 3mth old but I am not giving up.

Blessings to everyone on their journey.

You are inspirational. Keep moving forward. Time will pass no matter what so better to spend it sacrificing now.

Hi everyone its Joe. I am back and have some updates. I am all set to go and found out I do not need sociology. I only need micro biology. The classes start on January 4th. The only problem I have now is nerves. Some days I am so excited to get started in nursing. Other days I am not sure what I was thinking. All of you have provided motivation and great spots for resources. Happy holidays and much luck and success from me.

U will do great stay focused and jump right on ur 1st exam don't waist time. It's very easy to loose motivation when doing this self paced schooling.
