I would appreciate anyone who could respond to the ten questions listed below. If you could IM your responses I would truly appreciate it. I am looking for 100 American Nurses and 100 overseas nurses to respond. I am looking for nurses who are currently working in the US. I may be too optimistic in the numbers, but I would like to submit an outstanding paper.
Thanks again!
1. Most of us don't like the idea of being in a vunerable position in our work place,
but if you were not an employee, would you be happy to be treated at the hospital you work in? Why/why not?
2. If you are a peds or NICU nurse would you be happy to have your child cared for in the facility you work
Why? why not?
3. Do you feel valued by your employer?
4. What is the most common issue staff have in your hospital?
5. Career wise do you think that you have more opportunity for advancement?
6. Do you have or have had experience of working with overseas nurses.
7.. Has it been positive or negative? What are the issues if any?
8. How could overseas nurses be better prepared in work in US facilities?
9. What do you think about nurses coming from overseas when there is a worldwide shortage of nurses?
10.Did the facility offer training to you re cross cultural nursing difference to help you better understand/assist overseas nurses?
Are you an overseas nurse -
10. If you faced any problems/issues during the process of getting to the US, what were they?

I am wondering if you will get the response you need in the UK forum. Why dont you re-phrase the title and post on the general nursing nursing forum. Then it will be more widely viewed
