just wondering what program you are doing. Not sure which to do GCCC or Hainey Tech. Love to hear which you are doing.
i am applying at haney-the hours are better for me with my husbands job and childrens school hours. i took my tabe and scored well on everything but math. lol so i am starting math for nursing on tues. i have a friend who is in the gccc program also. let me know what u decide. amber
What are the hours like? I am closer to Haney - but applied for GCCC. When I went into Haney in Dec I couldn't get anyone to help me and one lady finally gave me a photocopied sheet and said these are the classes - can't tell you much else about it. Nice. So that is why I went down to GCCC. Talked to the people there, took the Tabe etc. But if Haney has better hours and its closer I may do that as my hubby is in Iraq. Let me know

the hours at haney are 730 to 2 - i think the ones at gccc run later. if u know let me know. as far a haney goes it is a pain in the ass to get any help. but i like the school. i am in the math for nursing class to pull up my math tabe grade :) let me know what u decide. as far as the tabe u have to score an 11 across the board.

Hey! I am currently in the RN program at GCCC. I know the starting rate for RNs in the hospitals around here used to be around 16/hr. I am not really sure about LPNs, but it should be somewhere in that ballpark. Of course there are shift differentials as well. Isn't the LPN program at GCCC done through the Gulf Franklin campus? Good luck to both of you!
How are you liking the RN program at GCCC? I have been trying to get into it for the past few semesters so I decided to do the LPN program first and then do the transition to RN.
