Palomar Nursing Program

Published

Hello everyone!!

Need some help/advice/input.

Has anyone applied to and/or gotten into the RN program at Palomar college??? I have been on the wait list for almost a year and am in the 200's. If you are on the wait list, are you technically accepted but just waiting until a spot opens up? Just want to make sure I'm not relying on one school and then something comes up at the end that I haven't done, they haven't said that I'm missing anything in the application process.

Also, if anyone is in or has finished the program at Palomar, any tricks or advice to succeeding, how are the teachers, how long were you on the wait list, what color scrubs do they wear :p (always curious about that) :D

Hello. I took this test last year. It is not as hard as it seems. I purchase a TEAS Test textbook, and trust me the book was harder than the test. I will suggest to focus on the subject you know. It is the overall points that counts. For example, I am good a math so I focus a lot on math and on some science and I did fine. I've already been over 2 years on the waitlist. I am now on #40. They called me to their orientation by the end of this month. I am hopping that I will get in by Fall 10, as I don't want to wait any longer. Is anybody going to this orientation as well?

I am taking the TEAS in Sept...they seem to fill up quickly. Anyways does anybody know what the schedule will be like for the program? I saw it posted here awhile back and can't seem to find it. Just want to start planning ahead of time for childcare and stuff....

Hi everyone, anybody still waiting to get in at Palomar Nursing program? I am currently on number 18 as of (08/10/2011). When do you guys think I can get in.
