Palomar College - Generic ADN (Fall 2024)

Published

Hey everyone. Just wanted to make this for those who are applying this cycle to the Palomar ADN program. I got about 88-89 points on their point system if I did the math correctly. How is everyone feeling about their application?

Has anyone else gotten a decision email since the first group heard?

I still haven't heard back, but one of my coworkers got one today

I still haven't heard either and I'm so anxious about it now. I know they said it could take until the 3rd but I guess I wasn't expecting it to actually take that long LOL. Out of curiosity, did your coworker get in?

Yes she did! And her last name starts with G, so if it's alphabetical it may be a bit longer 🥲 I was searching through previous cohorts and some people didn't hear back until mid May

I'm sorry to those who haven't heard yet! I was in an anxious fit just waiting 5 hours so that must be so frustrating.

I'm end of alphabet and was put on standby on Monday so I don't know if the alphabetical theory holds up.

As far as I can tell, they seem to batch send by result. A couple were accepted around the same time of day and some were put on waiting list same time of day.

Good luck in your wait and with your results!

Just got accepted off the standby list at 9:45 this morning!

They did say that the Orientation on May 7th is from 1:00 pm - 4:00  pm for anyone who needs to schedule their days out.

Awesome! Congrats!! I didn't end up accepting my seat so I'm hoping you got it. We had a similar amount of pts. Best of luck.

I also got taken off the standby and accepted today! :

Just received an email and I've been waitlisted. I applied with 87 points, so fingers crossed!!

Quick update. Palomar actually gave me until 4pm to accept the offer as they called and left me a voicemail to extend the offer just in case I missed the email. I just confirmed via email that I won't be attending. So to those on the waitlist or are waiting on a response, I would wait til around 4pm today to start seeing more offers. Good luck!

I was also placed on the stand-by list around noon today so fingers crossed!

I was taken off standby and accepted at 9:30 this morning!
