Palomar College - Generic ADN (Fall 2024)

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hey everyone. Just wanted to make this for those who are applying this cycle to the Palomar ADN program. I got about 88-89 points on their point system if I did the math correctly. How is everyone feeling about their application?

Just got an update about apps being in the second review phase. Curious if this means we got past the "first review" or if everyone gets this email? If that makes any sense. Like I'm curious if anyone got declined already I guess.

I think the apps just get reviewed again by different staff to make sure the points are calculated correctly.

OK that's what I kind of figured. I'm sure it would have been worded differently if we made it to the second round. Fingers crossed!

Hi! I'm applying with 85 points. I wonder when they will post the stats for Spring 2024, I'm interested to see.

It looks like they finally posted the stats from Spring 2024. They're super similar to previous terms with the average applicant points being 77 and the range for accepted students being 72-99.

Hello, I have applied for the fall 2024 cohort with 81 points; however, after reading you guys point, I actually have given up waiting because I also saw people who did not get in with much higher point.

we should be hearing back hopefully by the end of this week right?

Yeah, but I don't feel good about it. You know those feelings.

I know the feeling, but there's still hope! I applied to a school with 83 pts, not thinking I had a chance, and got on the waitlist. It's not acceptance, but it's something! Don't count yourself out yet.

Any day now...

Hi everyone! An update was sent out today.

"Hello Fall 2024 RN Applicant,

Our faculty has completed the 2nd evaluation review of the applications. We hope to start sending the results tomorrow or by next week. Decisions are not given at the same time. You may email us by May 3 if by that time you still have not received the result of your application.

We thank you for your patience.

Hi all,

I just received my acceptance email at 10:30am! I'm so grateful. I will be considering giving up this seat as I've been accepted into SWC. Good luck to you all.
