Palm Beach Atlantic Florida PBA Nursing 2015

Wanted to start a thread for all nursing students who are applying to PBA's nursing program this year (2015). I applied for the summer start date. :) Anyone currently in the program that can provide any insight? Has anyone applied and gotten accepted?

No not yet. I heard it may be the last two weeks in March when we are supposed to hear back. What GPA and teas score do you have, if you don't mind me asking?

What other students are you speaking with? I was surprised to see that this thread wasn't responded to. Have you spoken with anyone from the school? or did a student tell you that we would hear back late March? My GPA is 3.4 and TEAS 83. You?

I haven't heard from any other students.. I'm surprised also! I spoke with someone at the school. My GPA is also 3.4, TEAS 90%. This past week has been the longest week ever! I'm really hoping we will start hearing back next week.

No! I emailed my admissions counselor and was told they haven't made final decisions yet. We should know before 4/1 though. You didn't hear anything yet right ?

Omg no. I also applied FAU BC and I'm finishing my application for Nova today. I was unfortunately denied for FAU today, but it was almost kind of expected since their program is so competitive and they only let 40 applicants in. :unsure: I'm still trying to keep my hopes up for Palm Beach though because it was would the perfect school for me! Did you apply anywhere else?

No, this is the only school I've applied to thus far. I am a second bachelor degree student, so I can't apply to traditional tracks. I originally graduated from FAU with a degree in Math. PBA is my top school, so I'm really hoping on getting in so that I don't even have to look elsewhere. Sorry to hear about FAU; if it makes you feel any better, I heard their program isn't even comparable to PBA. Fingers crossed! I will let you know as soon as I hear anything else!
