Hi aturek9,
Sorry to say, I've never heard of any of the drugs you listed. I work in LTC though so that's probably why!

Alison,
My facility uses mastisol and detachol, no elamax here. Beware with both mastisol and detachol...they stink to high heaven, so work in a well ventilated area and wear a mask if you can...ugh.
Mastisol is great for adhering tape to hairy arms or sweaty patients. Wipe the patient with alcohol and let the area dry prior to putting the mastisol and dressing.
Detachol is wonderful, but very oily. We use both the wipes and the little breakable applicators. It dries very quickly so it's not difficult to go thru many just to change one dressing. Make sure to wipe the patient down with some soap and water after using it...it's just got a "yucky" feeling, to quote my 4 year old.

I've worked in chronic pain management 5 years and have never heard those drug names. After "googling" them, I found out why....
Elamax is a topical anesthetic
Mastisol is a liquid adhesive
Detachol is a liquid adhesive remover
We would have a very low success rate with these.
