Nursing Students School Programs

Published

hi

I apply at pacific college. I passed my interview  for ADN . does anybody knows how is this school for RN. / will you recommend?

well if you go for the BSN it is 85000 and if you go for the ADN it is like 55 I think

During the program, do they have a weekly exam or quizzes? How hard is the class? After students complete the whole program, do they have to take a exist exam to graduate?

Specializes in lvn.

anyone in the program, how is the skills and clinicals? where r u going to and how long are you there for?

Hey guys

so far I’ve learned lecture is online and skills and clinicals are in person for the first semester which days do you report in person ?

I'm in Cohort 4, we just started our second semester. Covid policies have made everything chaotic with hospitals cancelling student rotations and/or switching days of clinicals. What I will say is the program has the right people in charge at the top, they actually care. It's a strange time to be in any nursing school, lot of uncertainty due to the constantly changing Covid policies. Theory right now is 9-12 on Tuesday for med surg with a one hour break, then you go 1-4. Clinical days and locations depend what group you're in.

Hi @Kevfit

Do you know how much is the total program costs if you transfer all required prerequisites? I was in a zoom info session and we were told the program is $85,000. I have been trying to get in contact with the program but they don't answer.

Hey,

Thanks for all the information, I look forward to joining you in July. Also, they just started this (skip fundamentals thing) if you pass the pharmacology and skills test. When I started taking my pre reqs with them back in 2018 they were still going through getting the program approved and I was told they’re wouldn’t be any “bridge” or bypassing fundamentals until they were 2 years into starting the program. Because I was originally wasn’t suppose to be starting the program until this upcoming September but last month when I came in to take my TEAS I was told that they just got it approved and it was contingent upon space availability. So after I took my TEAS and did my interview I was able to make an appointment to take the pharmacology and skills test, which I took on 5/17.

Hi,

What kind of skills test and pharmacology test did you get? How did you study before you take the tests?
