Pace university NP program

Members are discussing different options for NP programs, particularly focusing on schools that accept New York State residents. There is frustration expressed about limitations for NY residents in certain programs, as well as discussions about waitlists and the possibility of being accepted off the waitlist. Some users have shared their experiences with specific programs, including St. John Fisher, and the requirements for acceptance.
Applied for the PMHNP program at pace for 2024. Has anyone heard back from any of the NP programs? Still waiting on my decision. And if anyone is already attending can you share your experience? Do you like it so far?
LUCBSN said:Nothing yet. Decided to email just to see if the program might have been filled yet and got a general response-
"Your application is complete and under review. While I cannot provide an estimated timeline of notification at this time, please know that your application is receiving full consideration for Fall 2024. As we continue to finalize our plans for the upcoming term, we will be sure to notify all applicants as soon as possible.”
so I guess at least we know the spots aren't filled yet? I applied to pmhnp
I got the same email when I asked. Let's hope!

I spoke with friends who got into the acute care NP and FNP programs with Pace in recent years and they told me some of them got their acceptances in May so honestly to sit back and just be patient as frustrating as it is LOL
Did you guys submit for financial aid in the meantime? Not sure how to go about this waiting period productively..

Hey everyone so I called one of the graduate admission evaluators and I was told there is no estimate time of when acceptance letters will be sent out, but it can be as soon as in a few weeks. Also, even if you applied on the last day as long as you applied by the deadline you have full consideration.
