Hi all! I wanted to start a thread for people applying to Pace University's Accelerated BSN program for the spring of 2019 - I haven't found one yet! I'd love to chat with others who are applying!

If you're accepted it should come in mail. You should receive letter within a few days after decision is made.

I called admissions and they said that if you are accepted/waitlisted you recieve an e-mail and a physical letter. Assuming I got rejected becahse i never got an e-mail and my status says "decision made"- I interviewed on Oct 9th and haven't recieved anything.. goodluck to everyone!

tathughes1 - can you clarify please? There are people who historically have shown "Decision Made - physical letter in the mail" and then hear within a few days via email that they were accepted.

Why is your understanding that this is different?

Yes! Sorry been very confused lately- the admissions office told me this morning that people who are accepted recieve an e-mail once the status switches too "decision made", and then recieve a physical letter. I did not recieve an e-mail or physical letter, and my status this weekend switched to "decision made" so I am assumming I got rejected. Could be wrong!

Yes, you're right. People who are wait listed the application online still says "in review" and those who got accepted or rejected says " decision made". People who were rejected only get a physical copy in the mail

Just for the sake of clarity, there are others who have posted in previous years that their status changed to Decision Made and they rec'd an email within 1-2 days, not immediately. What are your thoughts on this and does anyone who was accepted this year have an understanding?

As for now, people who have been accepted or waitlisted, receive an email prior to the physical copy in the mail. Those who are rejected receive no email just a copy in the mail. They even mentioned that during the interview

Personally. I think it's ridiculous for people rejected to wait for a physical copy, because I have deposits due for another school and I have been waiting to hear back from Pace. I interviewed on Oct 9th and my decision made just changed yesterday. Unfortunate. But best of luck! Will keep updated if for some reason my letter states otherwise, but I did not get an email

SMC0904 -- Understood and I think we're in agreement that those who get waitlisted or accepted receive an email/letter and those who are rejected only receive a letter.

However, tathughes1 states that her portal says Decision Made. No email/no letter as of yet. For those who were accepted, the question is therefore, did your portal state Decision Made a couple of days prior to receiving the email or was it all instantaneous?

I wasn't sure when my status changed to decision made but this afternnon, I received an acceptance email. Good luck to everyone!

I thought I saw there was a Facebook page for accepted students... if someone could post the link :)
