I'm still waiting too. I submitted everything on my end on 12/29/23, and my recc letters were submitted the last week of January. I'm keeping my hopes up for PACE but also completing prereqs for other programs (PACE requires the least amount of prereqs compared to other ABSN programs I am applying for).

Still waiting 😕

Hi all, I am currently attending Pace's ABSN program. It's the 2nd semester for me and as @Sica mentioned, it's been a tough one so far. But if you have any questions, please feel free to ask. As for everyone waiting for their results, I will say Pace is quite slow with sending out decisions. I had gotten my acceptance back in March '23, while others got their results in June and July. So, please don't let anxiety get the best of you when you see others getting their results while you're still waiting for yours.

Hi All! For those who got accepted, do you mind sharing if your prereqs were done in person or online?

I'm still waiting to hear back, and I did my pre-reqs online. I hope it doesnt make my application less competitive 😕

Just wanted to reassure you that completing your pre-reqs online does not make your application any less competitive. I took about 4 of my pre-reqs online and had no issues.

hi! I have several q's if you don't mind answering- how would you recommend studying for exams? best way to take notes? and also for our scrubs- are we required to embroider it with the pace logo? and can we use other brand scrubs than the school recommended? Thank you so much for your time! 🙂

Hi, I was waitlisted in the beginning of March. Do you know of anyone in your cohort who also went through a similar experience, and their timeline to when they got off the waitlist?

Some people who were waitlisted in March were offered seats in the June/July batch. We went from about 40-50 something people in the March/April batch to 90 something by July.

1. Studying for exams: This will depend on your professor and your own learning/studying style, honestly. So far my experience has been that for most professors, the content you need to know are on their slides. I consult the textbook when there are concepts I don't understand and need further clarification. However, there are some classes that you will need to read for because the PPTs are not very detailed. I would also pay very close attention to what professors emphasize in class as those concepts will show up on exams.

2. Notes: This is your preference. Most of my cohort either takes notes on their laptops or ipads/tablets. I, personally, take notes with an apple pen on my iPad. Slides are available for download and can be open on apps like Notability, Good Notes, etc. So I take notes directly on each slide, which makes studying so much easier.

3. Scrubs: Tops must have the Pace logo. The program admins will send out emails with the link to buy your scrubs. You have to get yours from that site as there is no other way to get their logo on your own scrub tops. Bottoms have no logo. The school-provided site sometimes has sales on certain styles so be on the look out for that. Unfortunately, not as many options for males and I know several taller males in my cohort who ended up wearing their own scrub bottoms because the ones from the site were too short.
