Hi guys! Just wanted to start this forum because I haven't seen anything for Fall 2024. Lets support each other!!  I hope we get some feedback on decisions in the next few weeks! Good luck to everyone!

Hey, of course! My undergrad GPA was 3.85 for a Psychology & Brain Sciences BS and pre-req GPA was 4.0. I worked as an Ophthalmic Technician with direct patient care experience for about 8 months upon applying (so not much healthcare experience compared to others that have replied).

I've worked as a clerk and administrative assistant with a hospital for about five years. Im afraid my background might be too admin-y and not enough direct patient-care. 

I submitted my application 12/29/23, got the email its under review on 2/1/24, and havent heard back yet.

Hey. I started as a CNA in hospice and then transitioned to an administrative assistant. My volunteer work consisted of companionship and helping with things like errands or getting around the house. Honestly I think your experience is fine. Hope you hear good news soon.

I was accepted on Friday!! I was also accepted to Adelphi. I am from Long Island. Is anyone choosing between these two schools? My IG is VikkiRyan18 if anyone would like to connect :).

To all my fellow applicants still waiting to hear - don't lose out hope! I just got my acceptance today! :) I applied back in December so I was sooooo anxious seeing January applicants get in before me. You guys got this!

Hi All! For those who got accepted, do you mind sharing if your prereqs were done in person or online?

I'm still waiting to hear back, and I did my pre-reqs online. I hope it doesnt make my application less competitive 😕

Congrats! I added you on IG if its easier to talk through messages there. Im still waiting, and thinking I need to apply to more programs. I'm finsihging some pre-reqs to apply to 3 other programs so far.
