Hi everyone, decided to start a thread for the Fall 2021 cohort since one wasn’t created yet. (Super early, I know LOL) I was accepted for Fall 2020 but decided to defer. Would love to connect with those who’ve applied/been accepted.

I recently submitted my application for fall 2021. I am also applying to Downstate, just have to take my TEAS on Monday and one more sociology class this Spring!

I believe it’s 2/3 max

Hi Elizabeth and welcome! I did an interview, it was really brief and they asked two questions: 1. Tell us about the last book you read and 2. Tell us about yourself/why you want to be a nurse (I can’t remember that question exactly)

Hey Guys, 

One of my professor has not been in  touch so I will have to wait for that recommendation letter. Can I still submit my application and later add that Letter of Recommendation in Common App?

Hi there, I don’t believe there is a word count limit, (unless specified on the application itself), but general guideline is ~500 words

Hi there, that’s definitely fine. Double check with admissions as well, but I believe they hold off on reviewing the application until all parts are submitted. Good luck!
