Pace Fall 2014 ABSN

Hi There,

I've applied for the ABSN program at Pace for Fall 2014 and recently was notified that I needed to attend an interview. Does anyone have any insight as to what to expect at the interview? Anyone else applying for Fall? Any current or past students available to offer insight on the program? Also, is admission determined on rolling basis?

At my interview they told one group two weeks and another group a month so I totally wouldn't despair wsc404. There is still hope for sure! I think it would be weird for decisions to go out before all the interviews were complete but I guess they do things rolling style?

well, my two-week window has come and gone. Like I posted earlier, at my interview on 2/24, I was told that we would be notified of our decision in two weeks. So.....I'm thinking that it's going to be not so great news for me. I'm still holding out hope though. As soon as anyone hears anything please let us all know (makes the waiting game a bit more tollerable). =)

Keep your head up, I'm sure you got in ;) and like lizjcruz said, another group was told a month! You still have time!

yeah my group was told we would find out in about a month. We were interviewed by three of the staff. One of them video conferenced in with us. I hope we hear back soon and I hope we all get in :laugh:

yeah, it seemed really strange to me that the first group of interviewees would be notified before all interviews were conducted. I think that a monh is a bit more accurate....that would cover all interview sessions. Does anyone know how we are going to be notified? through e-mail or snail mail?

wsc404: They told us decisions first come via email then, if accepted, a large packet arrives by snail mail. Let's keep those fingers crossed!!

My interview is tomorrow! How were the math questions? And what kind of group questions did they ask? Hope to hear great news for you all and myself!

Guys, should I be worried that they didn't have any questions directed to me during the interview? :X

They didn't ask me any specific questions either at my interview. The only questions were directed to the group and they were super general. How do you think it went? Did they tell you when you would hear? It's been two weeks today for me and they said I would know by now. Yikes!

Has anyone heard anything yet?

They only asked like specific questions to two girls and then more general questions to the group. I think it went well, I was anxious because I thought it was a problem they didn't have any specific questions for me. They told us we'd hear back from them in a month and that if anyone tells you they got in already, they're lying because they have not sent out one letter.

nothing yet. I looked at the doodle today and saw that another interview date was made for the 31st. womp womp. waiting isn't fun.
